Little England Barbados Tour Tickets, Bridgetown
Little England was what Barbados was called many years ago while still under British rule. While it is true that Barbados has been independent since 1966, there are still remnants of days gone by. Those days can be best seen in the gardens and great houses of the island. Andromeda Botanical Gardens is one of those gardens that spans back generations and is full of tropical colours and beautiful pathways that one can meander. Then head to St. Nicholas Abbey, one of the last remaining authentic houses of the 17th Century that exists anywhere in the “New World”. Built around 1658, St. Nicholas Abbey is a phenomenal sight to behold. Along with the house tour and historic video, you will be invited to partake in a bit of Rum Tasting.
